This is a portrait of Martin Luther King JR.  He is the third hero in the "story" of my gunpowder exhibit.  I portrayed him with that calm calculating look-rational thought overcoming emotional outburst-that so often adorned his visage. In the upper left of the piece, I painted my "dripping lips" symbol. It is a common theme in my gunpowder work, and has to do with how we as a society should always respect, remember, and learn from those who gave their lives to make everyone else's better.
